A Category B driving licence authorises you to drive motor vehicles with a maximum permitted mass of up to 3,500 kg and no more than 8 passenger seats plus the driver. A trailer with a maximum permitted mass of up to 750 kg may be attached. A trailer over 750 kg may also be used, provided the maximum permitted mass of the complete combination does not exceed 3,500 kg.

Category B also authorises the holder to drive Category AM vehicles and, from the age of 21, Category A three-wheeled vehicles and snowmobiles. It also permits Category A1 vehicles with automatic transmission, but only within the Czech Republic.
